【摘要】在把握历史街区概念及其内涵的基础上，简要回顾了国内外关于历史街区保护与更新的进程，对快速城市化、城市更新与旧城改造、经济转型期等背景下历史街区所面临的挑战进行了总结，对历史街区保护、更新的相关理念进行了批判，认为现有手段缺乏对多利益主体利益的考虑，进而导致历史街区实现可持续发展的动力缺乏。认为在可持续发展理念主导下，通过历史街区保护、更新与旅游业之间的协同可实现多利益主体多目标的实现，进而分别分析了协同的机理、动力和操作模式。以北京大栅栏历史街区保护、更新与旅游业协同为例，在旅游资源评价、土地利用分区和保护分区的基础上，设计了该区实现可持续发展的旅游开发方案。

COOPERATION OF PROTECTION, RENOVATION OF HISTORIC STREETS AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM: A CASE STUDY OF DAZHALAN AREA IN BEIJING

ABSTRACT: This paper reviews the process of protection and renovation of historic streets briefly. And the challenges historic streets confronted in the new era are introduced including urbanization, city renovation and economic transition. Some ideas about the protection and renovation of the historic streets are criticized. It suggests that through protection of historic streets and renovation of functions cooperated with tourism industry the sustainable development can be achieved.
